Superintendent Dr. Phyllis Edwards and members of the Board of Education invite CSD parents, students, and employees to an important public discussion of current legislative issues that have the potential to significantly impact the Decatur school system.  The event will be held on Monday, January 22, 7:00 pm- 8:30 pm at the Central Office at Westchester.

Herb Garrett of the Georgia School Superintendents Association, Don Rooks of the Georgia School Board Association, and Sally Fitzgerald of the League of Women Voters & Georgia PTA will lead the discussion as members of an expert panel.  The panel discussion will be followed by roundtable discussions about community action.  This will be a very informative evening that you won’t want to miss.  

Childcare will be provided.  If you need childcare, please call Sharon Hazelray at 404-370-4400 ext. 1.  Parking is limited.  Overflow parking is available at Sunrise Assisted Living on the corner of Clairemont and Scott Blvd, a short walk to Westchester.
